Mureka Trial Over? Mureka Alternatives With No Credits or Daily Caps

When your Mureka trial or paid plan ends, your account drops to the Free plan: about 4 songs a day, the older V7.5 model only and no commercial rights. Getting those back costs $10 a month for Pro or $30 a month for Premier. If you'd rather stop counting Gold altogether, the Mureka alternatives below have no credit meter at all.

What Changes When the Mureka Trial Ends

As listed on Mureka's pricing page on 14 October 2026:

  1. Older model only. Free accounts use V7.5. The newer V9.5 you had on the trial is for paid plans.
  2. About 4 songs a day. The free Gold resets daily, so it doesn't build up, and there are no Gold packs to buy without subscribing.
  3. No commercial rights. Songs made on the free plan can't be used commercially.

Make unlimited songs with no credits. Song Creator Pro runs on your own Windows PC, with no Gold to run out and a commercial license on every track.

Mureka Alternatives With No Credits

Very few tools have no credits at all. Almost every cloud music service limits how much you can make, because every song costs it GPU time on its servers. The four options below don't.

Alternative How it's priced Credits or caps Commercial use Runs on Setup Best for
Song Creator Pro $49.99 once (Microsoft Store, free trial) or $44.99 (itch.io) None Included Windows PC, GPU recommended Easy: install it like any Windows app Making songs regularly on your own PC
ACE-Step 1.5 (open source) Free None Yes (MIT license) Your own PC Moderate: Python, GPU drivers and model files, set up yourself Developers comfortable with Python
YuE2 (open source) Free None Weights are non-commercial by default, but individual creators may sell the songs they make Linux, with around 24 GB of VRAM (official release) Hard: Linux, Python and a command line Researchers and hobbyists with high-end GPUs
Soundraw Monthly subscription Unlimited downloads on the Creator plan Yes, on paid plans Browser None: sign up and use it in a browser Instrumental background music for video

Song Creator Pro: best if you have a Windows PC with a GPU

Song Creator Pro is a Windows desktop app that runs two open models, ACE-Step 1.5 and YuE2, entirely on your own computer. There is no account, no Gold, no daily allowance and no download cap. You can generate, remix and export as much as your hardware allows, in MP3, FLAC or WAV, and a commercial license and lifetime updates are included in the one-time price.

It covers most of what people use Mureka for. Generate creates full songs with vocals from a description and your lyrics. Remix reworks an existing track in a new style, Revise regenerates one section of a song, Layer adds instruments, and Extract separates vocals and instruments into stems. Seed, guidance and batch controls let you repeat a result exactly or generate several versions at once.

On quality, the two are close. On the WildSongBench benchmark, published by the YuE2 team in September 2026, Mureka 9 scored 6.94, while YuE2 scored 6.73 in its standard mode and 6.96 when keeping the best of eight takes. See YuE2 vs Suno for how that benchmark works.

The real drawbacks:

  • Windows only. There is no Mac, browser or phone version today.
  • It depends on your hardware. YuE2 needs an 8 GB NVIDIA GPU (AMD support is experimental). ACE-Step 1.5 runs on 6 GB cards, or without a GPU at all, more slowly. Our GPU guide covers which cards work.
  • No voice cloning. Mureka Premier can sing a song in a voice you upload. Song Creator Pro can't.
  • No music videos or community feed. Mureka can make AI music videos for your songs. Song Creator Pro makes the audio only, and has no feed for sharing it.

ACE-Step 1.5: best if you want it free and don't mind the setup

ACE-Step 1.5 is one of the two open-source models inside Song Creator Pro, and you can run it yourself for nothing. It is MIT licensed, so commercial use is allowed, and it sings in more than 50 languages. The cost is your time: you install Python, GPU drivers and the model files yourself, and the interface that comes with it is built for developers, not everyday users. Our roundup of the best open source AI music models walks through the setup.

YuE2: best if you have a high-end GPU and want the newest open model

YuE2 is the highest-scoring open model on WildSongBench, but the official release targets Linux and roughly 24 GB of VRAM. Its weights are licensed for non-commercial use by default, with a separate permission that lets individual creators monetize the songs they make. Read the license before selling anything you make with it. Song Creator Pro runs YuE2 on 8 GB cards, as covered in how to run YuE2 on an 8 GB GPU.

Soundraw: best if you only need instrumentals for video

Soundraw's Creator plan lists unlimited downloads each month, and you shape tracks by choosing genre, mood and energy rather than writing prompts. It doesn't make songs with vocals, so it only replaces Mureka if you were using Mureka for background music.

If You Need a Browser: Credit-Based Alternatives

If you don't have a Windows PC, or you want to make music on a phone, a cloud service is the practical choice, and every major one uses credits. These are the closest replacements for a lapsed Mureka plan, as listed on each service's pricing page on 14 October 2026:

  • Suno. Pro is $10 a month ($8 a month billed yearly) for 2,500 credits, but it allows only 20 song downloads a month. The free plan gives 50 credits a day but no monthly downloads, only 7 trial downloads per account, for personal use. See our Suno alternatives page.
  • Google Flow Music. The free plan tops up your credits daily. Starter is $6 a month billed yearly for 3,000 credits (about 600 songs).
  • ElevenLabs Music. Starter is $6 a month ($5 a month billed yearly) for 30,000 credits, shared with ElevenLabs' voice products. Music costs 900 credits a minute, so that is about 33 minutes of music a month. See ElevenLabs Music alternatives.
  • Udio. Standard is $10 a month or $96 a year for 2,400 credits, but Udio disabled downloads for every user in October 2025, so nothing you make can leave the platform. Details in how to download Udio songs.

All of these still limit what you make. Switching to one swaps Mureka's Gold for another credit system.

Staying on Mureka: When It's the Right Choice

Mureka is a capable product, and leaving isn't always the smart move.

  • You rely on voice cloning. No-credit tools can't match Premier's "any voice can be the singer" feature: Song Creator Pro and the open-source models above don't offer it. If you depend on it, stay on Premier.
  • You make music on your phone or a Mac. Mureka runs in a browser and has a mobile app. Song Creator Pro needs a Windows PC.
  • You make a few songs a month. The free plan's daily songs may be enough for personal projects, and it costs nothing.
  • You want to stay but pay less. Annual billing cuts Pro from $120 a year to $96. You can also subscribe for a single month when you have a batch of songs to finish, then cancel.

If you mainly make a lot of songs and want to keep them, though, a one-time purchase costs less. Three years of Mureka Pro costs $288 billed yearly, and three years of Premier costs $864. Song Creator Pro is $49.99 once. Our full breakdown of AI music generator pricing compares the per-song cost of 14 tools, and the cheapest AI music generator over three years adds up what each one costs over that time.

How to Move From Mureka to Song Creator Pro

  1. Download the songs you want to keep first. The free plan still lists MP3 downloads, but WAV, stems and MIDI need Premier, so save any high-quality files while your trial or subscription is still active.
  2. Check your hardware. Any Windows PC can run ACE-Step 1.5 without a GPU, but an NVIDIA GPU with 6 GB or more is much faster, and YuE2 needs 8 GB.
  3. Try it before buying. The Microsoft Store version has a free trial. Our getting started guide walks you through your first song.
  4. Reuse your prompts and lyrics. The descriptions you wrote for Mureka (genre, mood, instruments, vocal type) are a good starting point. The AI music prompting guide covers how prompting differs between models.
  5. Rework old songs if you want. Load a downloaded Mureka track into Remix to give it a new style, or into Extract to separate the vocals.

Frequently Asked Questions

Unless the trial turns into a paid subscription, your account returns to the Free plan. As of 14 October 2026 the Free plan gives a daily Gold allowance worth up to about 4 songs, uses the V7.5 model only and doesn't include commercial rights. Trial terms vary by account, so check your renewal date in your account settings.

As of 14 October 2026, Pro is $10 a month or $96 a year for 5,000 Gold a month (up to 500 songs), and Premier is $30 a month or $288 a year for 20,000 Gold a month (up to 2,000 songs). The same Gold also pays for Mureka's text-to-speech and other extras.

Not as far as Mureka's pricing page shows. On 16 October 2026 it listed no Gold packs or top-ups for free accounts, so the way to get more Gold is a Pro or Premier subscription.

Not on the free plan, which doesn't include commercial rights. Mureka's Pro plan advertises commercial rights for all songs, including ones made before you upgraded. The pricing page doesn't say whether those rights continue after you cancel, so check the Terms of Service before you publish.

If you have a Windows PC with a decent GPU, Song Creator Pro: $49.99 once, with unlimited generations, no download cap and a commercial license. If you want something free and can handle the setup, run ACE-Step 1.5 yourself. If you only need instrumentals for video, Soundraw's Creator plan has unlimited downloads.

Other services have free tiers, such as Google Flow Music's daily credits or Suno's 50 credits a day, and open-source models like ACE-Step 1.5 are free if you run them yourself. Cloud free tiers are for personal use only, while ACE-Step 1.5's MIT license allows commercial use.

None of the no-credit options in this article do. Song Creator Pro, ACE-Step 1.5 and Soundraw can't sing in a voice cloned from a sample. If voice cloning is why you use Mureka, Premier is still the plan to look at.

The quality is close. On the WildSongBench benchmark, published by the YuE2 team in September 2026, Mureka 9 scored 6.94, and YuE2 (one of Song Creator Pro's two models) scored 6.73 in its standard mode and 6.96 keeping the best of eight takes. The bigger differences are elsewhere: Mureka runs on any device and offers voice cloning and music videos, while Song Creator Pro runs offline on Windows with no limits after one payment.
